Project Costume is a series of 10 episodes posted on the web that will explore, promote and examine the worlds of narrative costuming throughout the Midwest. The culmination of our research will be a short film. We will present communities of people exploring alter egos in the worlds of historical reenacting, science fiction gaming, fantasy roleplaying and costume playing
Articles and interviews will supplement our visual research of video and photographs posted on this blog. Since our focus is on the garments and the narrative, our research will include interviews with professors and local experts of history, dress and subcultures.
